Two people have died of dengue fever in the last 24 hours. 625 people have been hospitalised.

This information was given in a press release sent by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Wednesday (September 10) afternoon.

The release said that one of the deceased is a two-year old child. child. The child was undergoing treatment at the Mugda Medical College Hospital in the capital.

Another victim is a woman of 40 years. She was undergoing treatment at the Islami Bank Central Hospital in Kakrail in the capital.

The Directorate General of Health Services said that among the infected people in the past 24 hours, 96 were admitted to the hospital in Barishal division, 112 in Chittagong, 114 in Dhaka division, 87 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 130 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 17 in Khulna, 15 in Mymensingh, 37 in Rajshahi, 14 in Rangpur and 3 in Sylhet.

At the same time, 604 people have been discharged from the hospital.

So far this year, 34,136 people have been discharged. So far this year, 36,096 people have been admitted to hospitals due to dengue.

A total of 139 people have died this year. Of these, 10 died in January, 3 in February, 7 in April, 3 in May, 19 in June, 41 in July, 39 in August and 17 in September.
